Context

What this means for procurement and projects

Derived from the items above — not a forecast.

The connection backlog of about 10 GW and the 4 GW storage target point to continued demand for grid equipment, transformation capacity and battery systems in Greece.

The staged rollout of large LFP storage creates demand for grid connections, medium- and high-voltage equipment and cables in Greece and the region.

A backlog extending to end-2028 indicates continued tight production slots for high-voltage cable, including for the Cyprus-linked GSI project.

Together with the ongoing €9.2 million project to replace 100 km of mains, Limassol shows continuing demand for reservoirs, pipes and network equipment.
